I am going to give up smoking. I have committed to this.

I have scheduled a Last Cigarette Party. I would like all of my friends to come and witness my very last cigarette.

This will help me to get to The Amaz!ng Meeting in Las Vegas next year, as well as being good for both my health and my budget.

I really want this to happen. But it scares the fuck out of me. Please come and give me your support and encouragement - I'm going to need it. I'm seriously going to need it.

Currently, the party is scheduled for the 23rd of August. That seems an auspicious date. KL and I are going on holiday starting the following week and I want to have stopped before then. I'll be asking a bunch of people to come.

If you are in range, please come. I haven't yet decided the location. If I can't organise something else, assume that it will be at my place - about half an hour past Tuggeranong on the Monaro Highway. Specific directions will be provided on request.

I really want to do this. I really do.
