First, get onto the Monaro Highway. It doesn't matter how:

From Belconnen or Gunghalin - go to Civic first
From Civic - Fairburn Ave or Morshead Dr
From Woden - Hindmarsh Dr or Long Gully Rd
From Tuggeranong - Isabella Dr or Johnson Dr

Once you're on the Monaro Highway, head south. Follow the signs to Cooma. Whatever you do, don't leave the highway!

Once you climb the Tuggeranong Hill onto the plateau, there isn't much to see. Go straight past the Old Cooma Road turnoff to Burra and Googong Dam. Go straight past the turnoff to the Royalla Country Estate. Sooner or later you'll reach Williamsdale. Slow down to 80kph as you pass the service station. You're more than halfway there.

A couple of kilometers down the road you will leave the ACT. You won't see it because the sign is down at the moment. But you will cross over Deep Creek (it isn't) and Waterhole Creek (it isn't). You will pass the sign telling you what the police are targeting (drink driving as of this writing).

The road does a left-hand bend and goes downhill a little. You will pass a woolshed with a rusty roof on your right, and just after that there are six advertising billboards on your left, as the road turns to the right, going uphill. Soon the road straightens, but continues going uphill. It is vitally important to remember that if you go over the crest of this hill you have gone too far!

We are about halfway up that hill. It's what is sometimes referred to as a "concealed" entrance, but it's not too hard to spot, unless you've got an asshat racing up your exhaust pipe. We are opposite the second metal railing on your left, but I fint it easier to look out for the three orange reflectors, arranged in a vertical line, placed high up a tree on the right. They are directly before our driveway. They're a bit hard to spot unless it's dark and you've got your high beams on.
