Description
The swordsmen of the Imperial Guard are the elite of the military. Wielding their Great Swords and wearing armour, they are a formidable opponent to any who upset the law of the Empire. They seek the Imperial Regalia, a set of three treasures which were lost in the Realm in ages past. Anyone who can return the Golden Crown, the Imperial Tabard or the Royal Sceptre will be renowned throughout the Empire.
Trading
The Guard have the game's store of Medium weapons. They also have a helmet and a breastplate, for those who are interested. The Medium characters such as the Captain and the Black Knight are interested here. The Captain can buy an axe at the beginning of the game (he can start the game at the Guard House). The Black Knight (their Enemy) would be very interested in the broadsword. Other characters may have a more difficult time.
Hiring
The Guard can be effective against single powerful monsters such as Dragons, as they can line up in all directions. They would also be effective against numerous smaller monsters that cannot damage them, such as Axe Goblins or Wolves.
Fighting
They are very tough, and they do a lot of damage when they hit, but they are slow. Many characters can undercut them, but they require a weapon that can do H damage against armour to kill. Beware of them changing tactics, since not only do their attacks become more powerful, they also become faster. The Company should not have any problems.
